Fun in Framingham

Hi!!! Keith and I have been in Framingham, Mass. since Thursday. We are at the Collins Group Trade Show which basically means we are seeing tons of new stuff, taking all kinds of classes to learn what to do with the new stuff and buying this new stuff to bring back to share with you!!!
We've had such a good time. We've taken 3 classes with Ranger/Tim Holtz/Claudine Hellmuth. We've also had classes with Outlines, BoBunny, Graphic 45, Rubber Soul...and more! Tonight I'm taking a 3 hour intensive workshop with Ten Seconds and tomorrow I'll be in an all day workshop with Hero Arts. Can't wait to get back and share with you. So many surprises to come!!

Arts and Crafts with Michele

Today Michele spent the day at Dorothy's demoing various techniques. She showed how to use: Omni Gel transfer medium, painting with Adirondack Alcohol Inks, embossing on glass, Judikins' Sticky Stuff powder and Metal Accents (verrigated gold leaf), faux stained glass effects with Magenta Peel-offs and alcohol inks...and the day isn't over yet!!! Customers have been in and out all day, loving what she was doing and just having a blast! Michele will be leaving us tomorrow to go back home to Oklahoma, but having her has been sooooo much fun!

Michele comes to town

What a great day! Michele Charles flew in from Oklahoma to teach two FANTASTIC workshop classes! In the first class we made beautiful pieces of soldered art including a necklace and a bookmark charm. We even brought out the sea glass and believe me the ladies
were inspired!

Michele even brought some goodies all the way from England and taught us some new lingo, "Wonky". For the afternoon class we created unique artist trading cards, ATCs, through a process of coloring, masking and layering. I LOVE this stuff!!
